Security, and SAP security in particular, is one of the most, if not the most neglected part of the IT infrastructure of companies worldwide. At blueworks, our mission is to use our knowledge of ALM and SAP security to help you create a framework and an ongoing ALM process to run SAP securely.
We have put together packages based on the SAP recommendations and wired with the NIST framework. The NIST Framework is the world’s leading cybersecurity framework. This supports the provision of security checks, governance recommendations and other improvements for your SAP and IT security.
Our packages are available in a standard and an extended version. To get the best out of the solution, we support you from design to implementation.

If you are already a customer of our SMaaMS service, you already benefit from the standard security package included in the scope of delivery.
As an on-premise customer, you must fulfill a number of requirements, such as
– SAP Solution Manager 7.2 (SP10 for Focused Insights Dashboarding)
– Completed managed system configuration
With these prerequisites, we can offer you basic security reporting with SAP configuration validation. If your Solution Manager is at the required level, we can offer you the same scope of services as for SMaaMS customers, as the Configuration Validation Reporting is supplemented by the Focused Insights Dashboard.
Advantages for SMaaMS customers
As an SMaaMS customer, you already have the Standard security package in place, i.e. all your systems assigned to our SMaaMS service are monitored for the latest security advisories.
The higher the package, the more you benefit as there are alerts and you can also log into your own security dashboard and have proper reporting and customized security metrics for specific requirements.
Advantages for on-premise customers
As an on-premise customer, you can benefit from all our expert knowledge in the area of SAP security. We support you in getting the most out of SAP Solution Manager and the ALM tools. If you have an up-to-date Support Package installed on your Solution Manager, you can benefit from the same scope of services as an SMaaMS customer. If you do not currently have a current release (at least SP10), we will support you with configuration validation and simple reporting.
