blueworks presents Focused Build in Helsinki

Last month, blueworks partnered with the SAP Finnish User Group to present Focused Build for SAP Solution Manager at the group’s annual Fall Seminar in Helsinki.

Introduction to Focused Build

As a member of the SAP Focused Solutions Circle, blueworks took the stage to introduce Focused Build for SAP Solution Manager. During the 15 minute overview presentation, Kenneth Staub, covered the benefits and opportunities of Focused Build and explained how the tool and methodology jumpstarts the path to S/4HANA through SAP Activate or Model companies.

After a quick review of Solution Manager’s core functionalities the presentation went on to highlight the enhancements and standalone features Focused Build introduces to the requirements-to-deploy process.

The preconfigured turn-key process, that emphasis a «back-to-standard» approach simplifies the entire R2D process by defining clear roles with corresponding tasks and easy-to-follow processes.

A highlight of Focused Build, is the Solution Readiness Dashboard that ships with the suite. In this single point of entry overview dashboard, project managers and key stakeholders receive a quick overview of the project status, including progress on work items, status of testing, schedules and deadlines as well as any project risks that may need attention. With the ability to drill down into more detail on every metric and status.

Additional functionalities in project management, requirements management, the test suite CharM and release management enhance the already powerful scenarios of Solution Manager 7.2 with more functionalities and streamlined workflows designed to expedite and simplify your innovation projects.

Furthermore, Organizations implementing Focused Build, can rely on a vast library of training materials that covers the basics and in-depth knowledge needed to master Focused Build at any level and is included with Focused Build.

With integrations to external tools, Focused Build enables data and information exchange with 3rd-party apps such as Jira or Digital ScrumBoard

Lastly, the user interfaces of the different tools, now shine in the stunning UI5 designs, making working with them an intuitive and engaging user experience.

Although many of  Focused Build’s functionalities and processes can be implemented in SAP Solution Manager, this requires an immense workload and configuration effort. In contrast, implementation and onboarding Focused Build is easily done. With blueworks’ Focused Build Tool Coaches you can rely on proven expertise, quick implementation and top-notch training of your key users.
And best of all: Starting January 2020 Focused Build is free to all Solution Manager customers!
