Although the definition of processes and responsibilities in SAP Cloud ALM was time-consuming, it was worth it for several reasons. SAP Cloud ALM was able to solve all requirements from the vulnerability analysis with a central tool, easily connect new SAP systems and provide a standardized system for SAP applications as well as for SAP Basis and technology (monitoring). In addition, test cases could and can be reused several times for different test phases and strategically also in later operation. In addition – and one of the very important points for project management in Go2HANA: there was positive value creation throughout the entire process with constant updates on tasks, project and sub-project status.

SAP Cloud ALM offers a number of advantages. It is audit-proof and traceable through logging. Thanks to the central administration, it provides a good overview of upcoming tasks. It enables simple navigation and filtering at very different levels and transparent project management through visualization with various dashboards. SAP Cloud ALM is suitable for agile and classic project methods. Ultimately, it enables the standardization of various processes.
