The year of ALM

Dear customers and partners,

With less than two weeks to go, before the decade is out, we wanted to take some time to reflect on and celebrate some of our the highlights over the past year.

We’re about to close the books on our strongest year yet. With our shift from more traditional SAP services, towards a strong ALM mindset, we have struck a nerve and been able to solve a number of unique pain points in our customer’s SAP needs. Organisationally our Swiss team has been hitting the road and worked on-site and side by side with our customers in their roles of the build team, while our Estonian branch has taken on the role of the back office, managing daily operations and implementations as the run team

Our teams have grown in both countries and also proven their knowledge with a number of new certificates, putting a total of 32 certifications under our collective belt.

Solution Manager as a Managed Service has continued to be well received by our existing and new customers, allowing them to focus on their core business rather than dealing with the headaches of running and maintaining an SAP landscape. As new innovations have been released to the market, we continously evolve our offerings with additional services and tools. One of the biggest impacts has been Focused Build and agile project delivery. With SAP recognizing our expertise, we became the just 10th company worldwide to be accepted into the SAP Focused Solutions Circle.

The Focused Solutions have since grown in importance for us and our customers and also defined our standing in the market.

The second half of the year we were busy attending a number of events throughout Switzerland, Germany, Finland and Estonia. Our roadshow started with the DSAG’s annual conference in Würzburg, followed by our debut in Finland during the SAPFINUG’s Fall Seminar and closing with a strong Solution Manager Education Summit in Heidelberg.
At all of these, blueworks was center stage, presenting the benefits of Focused Build, our customer successes and showcasing our experiences in the ALM sphere.

And with a  looming deadline, our RUN team has successfully ensured, all our customers will not notice the impact of the Support Backbone changes taking effect on January 1st.

We’ve also had the oportunity to build new and valuable partnerships, that we are convinced will help us deliver the ALM methodologies and tools more effectively and tailored manner to a wider audience than ever before. While it is still too soon to lift the curtain on the specifics, we can reveal that starting next year, you will also benefit from a stronger focus on cloud solutions, improved SMaaMS services, additional values on your path to S/4HANA, new options for customization, and access to even more highly trained and certified experts.

To you, our loyal customers, supportative partners, and all of the ALM community, we want to say thank you! It has been a pleasure working at your side and we look forward to kicking off the new year and decade at full speed.

Until then, we wish you and your loved ones a quiet and peaceful Christmas and all the best for 2020!

Sincerely,

Kenneth Staub,
and the entire blueworks Team
